OBJECTIVE:
Yuwalaya, a youth-led civil society organization, seeks proposals for documenting 10 video stories on unpaid care work. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders, the goal is to inform policies promoting women’s rights in the care economy.
METHODOLOGY:
Utilizing digital storytelling, Yuwalaya aims to influence stakeholders and sensitize communities. The focus is on recognizing and redistributing unpaid care work by women.
PROSPECTIVE STORYTELLERS:
Physically challenged person, Returnee Migrant Workers, Male Role Model in care work, Parliamentarian, Media representative, Corporate Sector, Vehicle Driver, Domestic Worker, National Women’s Commission/Legislative Representative, Elderly Women/Men
VIDEO LENGTH: 3-5 min videos
REQUIREMENT AND QUALIFICATION:
Seeking proven experience in videography, scriptwriting, and video editing. Proficiency in handling filming equipment, conducting ethical interviews, and adherence to project timelines.
PROPOSAL SUBMISSION:
Submit detailed proposals (firm/individual details, registration, tax clearance, and previous two work references) by 5 pm, February 10, 2024, to yuwalaya.youth@gmail.com with the subject line “Call for EoI- Digital Storytelling for Care Dialogue.”
CRITERIA FOR EVALUATION:
Assessment based on filmmaking and documentary experience, individual qualifications, submission completeness, budget, and previous work quality.
DURATION OF VIDEO MAKING: By the end of April 2024, the final product must be provided to the organization.
