Who We Are

Yuwalaya is a youth-led, non-profit organization in Nepal dedicated to empowering young people through education, advocacy, and capacity-building. We focus on child rights, youth engagement, and social development, fostering a society where young voices drive positive change.

Whome We Help

At Yuwalaya, we focus on supporting adolescents and youth across Nepal, especially those who are marginalized, underserved, or facing systemic barriers. We work with young people from diverse backgrounds—including girls and young women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, youth with disabilities, and those affected by poverty or social exclusion. By providing safe spaces, resources, and opportunities for growth, we empower them to speak up, lead, and drive change in their communities. Our programs are designed to be inclusive and youth-centered, ensuring that every young person has the tools and support they need to thrive.

What We Do

Yuwalaya engages, empowers, and equips young people to become agents of change through innovative programs and advocacy. We design and implement youth-led initiatives in areas such as sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), mental health, education, climate action, and civic participation. Through capacity-building workshops, awareness campaigns, policy dialogues, and community outreach, we create platforms for youth to learn, lead, and make a difference. Our approach is participatory and inclusive—ensuring that the voices of young people are not only heard but also drive the solutions to challenges they face.
